My kids wanted to go fishing so we took them to the docks at the park. There were two locals that run a fishing charter who were out there fishing for fun and they were trading fishing tips back and forth with my 13 year old. The park itself has a playground, a HUGE gazebo (I had my wedding in that gazebo 18 years ago.
The park and beach were fabulous! Plenty of space and things to keep the kiddos occupied. The dock was sketchy. My son and I didn't walk past the broken part.
I'm quite impressed with their Park nice beachfront I'm a shell and a rockhound nice big picnic area too. Lots of dead salmon washed up the seagulls like that there was a seal out a bit further out in the water from the beach and the seagulls kept trying to take his salmon and he'd whack his flipper to scare them away…
Went to see Nick Cain at the Park, and what a great afternoon it was! The band was amazing, the view was killer, and the people were dancing the afternoon away! Music in the park at Allyn is bomb!! Hit it up. Plenty of fun for the little peeps too, dogs were welcome also. See ya next year Nick!
