From the reviews
This hotel is perfectly located, beautifully appointed, and a pleasure to stay at. The room we had offered a stunning view of Morro Bay from the patio. It was equipped with binoculars for looking at the harbor, a Nespresso machine, terrycloth robes, a wonderful shower, and a beautiful gas fireplace.
Live in Texas, had a week during the holidays, so headed out to Morro Bay and the Anderson Inn. Neither disappointed, lots of otters in the nursery and Anderson Inn was just spectacular. If you want a place where you are close to everything this is your place.
This will be our new home away from home. You can't beat this view and the rooms are beautiful. The staff (Conner & Frankie), you all are amazing. Praying we get back here soon. I think being near everything walking distance was a plus
Great location and excellent service. While we were there they were working on the hotel so it was a little loud. But I am sure that is not normal. Nice place to stay.
Getting married at Anderson Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
