This is without a doubt the best hotel my wife and I have ever stayed at. It is very respectful to the Hawaiian history while also adding the Disney element. Besides the many characters roaming around it does not feel like a Disney resort. The views are spectacular, room was fantastic, weather was perfect.
Aulani a Disney Resort was a lot of fun. We felt it was a much better value compared to the neighboring resorts. The resort is absolutely beautiful and they put a lot of attention into the details. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly employees.
I recently stayed at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and overall it was a really enjoyable experience, especially if you’re a Disney fan. One of the best parts of the resort is how immersive it feels.
My happy place! The view is spectacular! Downside: we tried snorkeling by the shore, couldn't see anything due to water not being that clear. But water was nice and calm. Not too crowded when we visited in May. I enjoyed snorkeling in the reef they have inside the resort. Will definitely go back and stay longer!
Getting married at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
