From the reviews
This review has been long overdue - my wife and I got married here in December 2023, and Annalise is an absolute rockstar. The care and attention to detail made the event planning incredibly stress free, and there was a lot of open-endedness that we highly appreciated.
What a perfect location. We did not use the water park but the rest of the grounds were LOVELY. We enjoyed the beach and Lake Michigan steps away from our first floor lake view room. There was a lot we honestly didn't take advantage of at the resort. We will be back the next time we are in Sheboygan.
Our overall stay was great! Location is prime to go to all the spots Sheboygan has to offer (everything is less than 10 minutes away). Kids loved the water park. Would stay again.
We were very excited for the the pop up 'chicago steakhouse' celebrating our anniversary....unfortunately it was unorganized, tried to make reservations with multiple people, multiple phone numbers no one knew.
Getting married at Blue Harbor Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
