Excellent location, rooms well appointed, and great dining at Coastal Prime on site. If you want a waterview room, be sure to pay the extra, we had room 501, which is very lovely, views spectacular, however miss seeing the sunset, building 2 sits right in front of building 5, blocking the view.
The hotel and room was clean and location great as it’s right near walking bridge. No issues with the staff. Room was upgraded, bed was comfortable. The shower water temperature handle was very difficult to turn. I let the reception staff know.
Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Inn delivers a comfortable, well-appointed room with blackout shades with curtains. We visited at the very opening of the 1901 Coastal Prime restaurant and received excellent service of a delightful meal.
Great location across Boothbay Harbor, short walk across bridge to town. We had a suite with a good view. Rooms very clean with nice linens and comfy beds. Wifi and TV seem to have been downgraded since our last stay. Bar is a great place for sunset drinks
Getting married at Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
