From the reviews
Enjoyed our stay - room was clean and cozy. Staff was all very friendly. I appreciate that it feels more like home than big chain hotels. Great location and well kept pool!
Bridgeport Waterfront Resort in Sturgeon Bay has a strong reputation as a family-friendly destination with great amenities, particularly its pools and spacious suites. Its prime waterfront location is often highlighted, along with its convenience to local dining options like the adjacent Sonny's Pizzeria.
We enjoyed our stay. Short drive to Peninsula state park. Great location with several restaurants within walking distance. We had the king city view room and it was perfect. Had a nice balcony with 2 chairs and we actually had a nice view of part of the bay.
Great views. Comfortable bed. Good closet/ storage space. Kitchenette is convenient. Staff are extremely helpful. The downside is that the the decor is a bit old, and the towels are scratchy & worn out.
Getting married at Bridgeport Waterfront Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
