We have family who live in the area and are members of the club. It is always a safe and enjoyable time when we visit and spend time on the beach and the pool. The staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and well kept. Always enjoy our family time in Pondra Vedra.
The upside to staying at Sawgrass Marriott was access to Cabana. Staff is prompt and food was relatively good for price point apres fun in the sun. Beach was quiet and clean and views are great at the top of 1912 for a drink; especially during sunset.
We visited in the evening so didn't use the facilities. It looks fantastic, clean restrooms and decent area to sunbath. We went for a stroll along the beach and it was wonderful. Great spot!!
If you're staying at the Marriott and you don't come to the beach club you're missing a great opportunity! The free shuttle can take you to Florida's beaches!
Getting married at Cabana Beach Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
