My wife and I had our wedding reception at this location this past summer and it was an absolute dream come true. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. They allowed us multiple early showings before our reservation date and were always very punctual and communicative.
We had our wedding at Camp Blodgett and it was a truly phenomenal experience. From the very beginning the events manager, Tracy was so helpful and communicative. On the day of the wedding we worked with Brooklyn who truly went above and beyond for us. She helped to set up, coordinate, and tear down our event.
Camp Blodgett is one of the most beautiful outdoor wedding venues in Michigan. As a photographer, the grounds overlooking lake michigan along with the trails of trees made amazing backdrops for my portraits with the couple. If you are looking for a all inclusive camp chic vibe look no further.

Getting married at Camp Blodgett
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
