Both My husband and I really enjoyed the beautiful Captain Anderson Event Center! Our wedding was on August 6, 2022. Chelsea was awesome on or special day and also leading up to. There were some small issues that came up and Chelsea did her best to make sure our wedding day was perfect.
This was hands down the best place to get married! From the very beginning, Chelsea was amazing—super helpful, patient, and just really easy to work with. She made the whole planning process so much less stressful. Anytime I had a question or needed something changed, she was on it right away.
This venue was everything!! The view, the space and the host was awesome!! We also had to bar! I had my wedding reception here and all the guests were happy and amazed at how beautiful this venue was and the water view. Chelsea is very nice and always quick to respond and stayed in touch.

Getting married at Captain Anderson's Event Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
