This wedding venue feels like a fairy tale. Last August, I attended a wedding and was transported to a kind of wonderland with a lush and wild forest backdrop, perfect lawn, edison lights, and a grove of sunflowers large enough for paths and a picturesque bench.
Great location and set-up for an outdoor wedding on Whidbey Island! As a wedding guest here, I loved walking through the garden following the ceremony…and the evening lighting of the sunflowers was gorgeous! I still love looking at all the pictures I took during the ceremony and reception.
Grateful to have attended an event at Cascadia Meadows. This spectacular venue on Whidbey Island is perfect for a wide variety of occasions and the church has excellent acoustics. We stayed in the cottage on the property that was very comfortable and quiet.
We hosted a neighborhood meeting at Cascadia Meadows - what a perfect space! There was plenty of parking, abundant tables & chairs, and even a wipe board with pens!
Getting married at Cascadia Meadows
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
