Update - 2nd Stay - 10/14/19: Once again, this beautiful, charming bungalow resort never ceases to impress. This was our second stay at the resort (the first being this same month last year) and we had the luck to stay in the Boat House. It surpassed all expectations.
This facility has the best of both worlds!It has a beach side as well as a boat inlet side so you can bring your boat the boat ramp is located just a short little drive away and you can actually see the boat ramp from your rooms on the inlet side.
We had our daughter's destination wedding at the Casey key resort Gulfshores. What an awesome location for a wedding, Christopher and Cheryl, were amazing to work with, they went above and beyond for us!!! It was a beautiful weekend and we couldn't have done it without their help.
Gulf Shore Beach Resort was a wonderful experience. The staff was so nice and brought clean towels every day to our bungalow. We plan on returning there and just relaxing again on the beach. We did a lot of shell picking and fishing and the sea food in the area restaurants was amazing.

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
