We absolutely love it here! We just finished our 4th stay at Cedar Cove. We have stayed in Sunset, Coral Reef (twice), and Dolphin. Each suite we have stayed in is on the first floor, has a kitchen/kitchenette, and has always been clean. We love that we can go to the beach and only have to pack clothes.
Let me begin by saying I was at the property for a special occasion And did not stay in or see any of the rooms. (Updated rating based on property response. I rated 4 star only because there is no option indicating that I didn't stay at the property and felt it unfair to give a 5 star)…
Family of 4, we needed a place for the late day/night and Cedar Cove was awesome. We booked direct and saved a ton compared to what the other booking sites were charging. The cottage was clean, we stayed in the Mimosa cottage and gave us everything we need to end the trip!!
We booked here at Cedar Cover on a last min. trip. Wow what a great choice. Cottages are very nice, and perfect for our trip. Was only staying for one night, but when we seen the location, and the cottage we went back to the office ,and booked a second night. Best time. Great sun sets. Beach right there.
Getting married at Cedar Cove Resort & Cottages
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
