We love visiting older homes with an interesting history. This was recommended to us by Darius in the visitor center on the Pismo Beach pier. It has limited hours and he recommended the Friday evening time. There is only street parking, but it is right in front of the estate.
Visited this location close to sunset on our way back to Pismo from the Hearst Castle. The grounds are very interesting and beautiful. The entire visit lasted about one hour and cost $20 for two adults, kids are free.
Tour is good but I wish they'd let us inside the house and not just inside the property. Beautiful surroundings
