I am from Mt Pleasant but since moving away especially now with children you can NOT beat staying here. Between the pools, service, and location there is nothing else that compares! But I have to say with out question the step above was BRANDY!
This place is an absolute gem in Charleston. This is the second time we’ve stayed here in the last five years and both times were great. The first time we stayed on the Beach Club side and this time we stayed on the Harborside part, and both were great experiences even if the Beach Club is a little more upscale.
Wowwww! This resort was the best!! It was clean, luxe but still very family friendly. It was perfect placement between everything worth visiting. All of the staff was super friendly and helpful. The views from bothering the beach club and the harbor buildings are amazing.
Had a great time! Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. We loved the ease of having several places to hangout and grab a bite or drinks. Location is a 10. Bed was not awesome and room seems a little old, but we still had a great time.
Getting married at Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
