From the reviews
Introduced to the Cabins by a friend of the owners. 7 cabins dotted around the property of various sizes. We're staying in the expansive Clubhouse. Wooden floors, rustic fireplace and various types of seating including two large sofas. Table that seats 6. Well-appointed kitchen.
This place is amazing! I stayed in Cabin 6 with my parents this past weekend. They had been there before but it was my first time and now I see why they love it so much! Our cabin was incredibly clean and cozy with a gorgeous view. It was so nice to walk around the yard and the beach- such a peaceful place!
This has been a wonderful place to stay. The amenities in the cabins have been perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 children under 7) and the kids have had a lot of fun exploring the grounds/going down to the beach. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
What a beautiful spot for a quiet, relaxing couple of days outside the city. Not too far from downtown if you're looking for lunch/dinner spots but you wouldn't have to leave if you brought some groceries. Easy walk down to the beach, we basically had it to ourselves at the end of April.
Getting married at Chevy Chase Beach Cabins
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
