I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is deep with nostalgia it just feels peaceful like coming home. Beautiful view, and plenty of serenity to be had. The couple that own the cottages are so sweet and helpful they have always gone above and beyond to make me feel like part of their tribe like I have been away…
I have been absolutely blown away by this little haven on the water a family has built together. We first stayed at the Salt Water Gypsy with my daughter and had an incredible time. Decided to get away for my sister’s death anniversary and my partner & I are staying in the LaView suite.
Owners are very nice and make you feel welcomed.The rooms are very clean cozy and quiet.the location is very very nice clean and an awesome view of the water. Took my wife here for our anniversary, and she fell in love with it, even a picky as she is she already planning another trip just undecided as to when.
The atmosphere was awesome. The view was great. The staff was incredible. The only thing I wish was that there were safety handles in the bathroom and tub area, but we knew that there wouldn't be ahead of time. We stayed in the Ohana House and it was amazing. There was plenty of room for my family.
Getting married at Come Friday Cottages on the Bay
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
