What a wonderful and beautiful place to stay on this bluff over-looking the sea! The rooms are very nice with direct access to fire pits and chairs on the bluff. Sitting outside while the sun went down was very tranquil.
Absolutely loved our stay here—we’ll definitely be back! We had an ocean view room with a patio, and it felt so charming, like staying in a cozy little cottage. One of my favorite touches was the outdoor fire pits—perfect for a morning coffee or winding down in the evening.
I was shocked when I got here. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are beautiful. We are actually staying here right now. I’m at the hotel.They have fireplaces. They’re clean the view. Looks like you’re looking into heaven views from all over are beautiful. The pool area is clean and nice at night.
Ocean front room has a great view, but upper floors have no balcony and the window will only open about an inch. When booking we didn’t know there weren’t balconies. Fireplace is nice.
Getting married at Cottage Inn By the Sea
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
