Love The Harbor House! Mr Billy and Mrs Julie are excellent hosts, good people and very helpful w/everything on the island. Cozy, comfortable and clean rooms. Great view from the bay. Had our wedding reception there on May 20,22. Great fishing off the pier.
We have stayed here several times and The hosts were amazing! They included us in their family dinners and made us feel so welcomed! The rooms were so nice and the beds were sooooo comfortable I didn’t want to get out of it but there was so much to do.
Easy to find nice location friendly people really nice and clean rooms. It was a very comfortable and I'm very relaxing atmosphere. The owners are super nice and very helpful in finding whatever you may need are looking for. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit there.
Getting married at Dauphin Island Harbor House
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
