This is a great hotel in a fantastic location on the bay side of Virginia Beach. It is more local than staying down on the ocean side of the beach and boardwalk. The staff is what makes the stay a 5 star. They are very calm and accommodating when you have issues or simple request.
Nice hotel. Great rooms with lots of space. Pricing is ok. Location isn’t bad if you don’t mind being off the main strip. One major downside is they really need to fix their best feature….the shuffleboard table. This is the whole reason I choose this hotel. Love shuffleboard….
GORGEOUS PROPERTY Beautiful hotel right on private beach. Room was spacious, clean and had breathtaking waterfront view from large balcony. Staff members that we interacted with on Sunday afternoon were kind and exceptional. Easy self parking. I was able to see dolphins swim from my balcony. Amazing!
Getting married at Delta Hotels Virginia Beach Waterfront Suites
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
