From the reviews
I recently stayed at this beautiful oceanfront property for a work conference, and it exceeded all expectations. While the event kept us busy, the stunning coastal views and pristine grounds offered the perfect backdrop to unwind. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the incredible service.
First off, I would love to give a HUGE thank you to event coordinator, Christina Slagle. My wife and I had the wedding of our dreams. After checking with several beach resorts, several of them had issues with wanting to host a wedding on the sand but Hilton Doubletree/The Ellie were more than willing to give us all of…
Just finished attending a conference for 4 days and was impressed by the property, the staff and the location. The beach front is awesome and was a great way to start the day. The amenities were also very well suited for someone traveling alone, or a family alike. Highly recommend.
Fantastic vacation resort experience. Beach acess and pools were great. Water slides were a ton of fun. My room had a nice balcony view of the ocean.
Getting married at DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
