We’ve been coming to this hotel for almost 10 years, and I have to say—this year feels completely different in the best way possible. The rooms are noticeably cleaner, and the reception area looks absolutely amazing such a beautiful upgrade. I especially have to mention the Fire TV in the rooms.
I have been coming to this hotel for many years. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is because we didn't have a great experience here on our honeymoon. Aside from that it is the perfect spot for an ocean front room, spotlessly clean, the people that work here are phenomenal.
Spacious, clean, comfortable rooms. A great location straight off the causeway near the ocean in ship bottom. Short walk to ocean, beautiful views, balconies, beach badges and beach chairs are available. Great hospitality and relaxing atmosphere. Parking passes included.
This hotel has the best location on LBI. The rooms with ocean view are just amazing. It’s so perfect to be able to leave your room and just walk a few feet to the sand. Definitely recommend!
Getting married at Drifting Sands Oceanfront Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
