After reading some of the negative reviews of The Eau, I have to add my two cents, take it or leave it. I have no idea why those minor incidents occurred, but please read my full review and trust my thoroughness. Reviews matter; they’re the most influential factor in booking decisions.
Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. This place sets the standard for what a true luxury resort should be. The moment you arrive, the service is next-level, every staff member is attentive, genuine, and goes above and beyond without being overbearing.
The reservation/sales team went above and beyond in accommodating us at the resort. Samantha and Kristine were very kind and attentive, answered all our questions and requests with patience and in detail.
The Eau offers great overall service, and dining. The hotel has a fun vibe. There is not a lot available within walking distance is a downside if you like to go off property. But this one of my favorite properties to visit and we have gone many times!
Getting married at Eau Resort & Spa
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
