It’s hard to believe that a 5 Star rating can have 4Star rooms, but it’s true of the Emerson Inn. The room we stayed in was old… small and dated. But very clean, had magnificent views and was comfortable.
I have stayed at the Emerson six or seven times now, maybe more. Each time has been a wonderful experience. A very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, a beautiful dining room. I always enjoy dinner at a table out on the porch facing the ocean! The chef is excellent. Always have a great meal there.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a fantastic stay at the Emerson Inn! It’s such a charming and quaint property with so much character. The customer service was excellent from start to finish. A special shoutout to Hannah, who went above and beyond to give us great advice and local recommendations that made our trip even better.
This place is gorgeous! The staff is super friendly and the ocean views and little walks were very relaxing. Thank you for the beautiful experience with the history of the inn itself. The moon rising party was an unexpected elegant touch! Thank you for the wonderful experience. We look forward to returning!
Getting married at Emerson Inn By The Sea
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
