More than a hotel — A great experience based in an incredible location! I’ve been lucky enough to stay at the Fairmont on several occasions, but my most recent visit over the Christmas and New Year holiday season of 2025 was genuinely special. From the moment I arrived, the attention to detail was outstanding.
This is a beautiful property with a great history and gorgeous location. The staff could not be nicer or more accommodating. Food and bar service was excellent. Location makes walking to many great destinations possible. Bungalows are so comfortable. Amenities over the top. Dyson blow dryers!! Just fabulous.
10/10 experience from start to finish. The level of customer service here is outstanding. Every staff member I interacted with was professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made a noticeable difference throughout the stay.
We had a wonderful family spring break at one of our favorite resorts. Rooms are clean, comfortable and large enough for families. Grounds are beautiful, fish feeding was an extra treat for kids. All restaurants and cafe had excellent food and service. We absolutely love it here.
Getting married at Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
