Had our wedding there recently. We booked the venue for 48 hours (rehearsal and day-of), and even though we didn't need it, the venue Stewart was kind to offer us the night before as well without charge.

I have done a few weddings at the Freeland Hall and find it to be most agreeable for weddings and other occasions. One memorable wedding had an unexpected guest roosting above the bride and groom during their outdoor ceremony - a beautiful Bald Eagle! Nice stage, simple kitchen, bathrooms downstairs, and lots of room!
We had a 40th anniversary party at the hall this weekend and it was so lovely. Working with Eileen is super easy and we loved that so many items were included in the price: basic white dishes, wine glasses, silverware, and more.
Getting married at Freeland Hall
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
