I didn't actually stay here, but visited with a Fripp Island resident. While the pool side structures are getting a bit dated they seem to be well maintained and I understand there is a new management group working to raise the bar. Beautiful views, accomodations, and the staff is always friendly.
My family's favorite vacation spot. We like it because it's not just the beach but a family experience with scavenger hunts, singo bingo, karaoke, family feud, nature center and so much to do with pools too...
First time at Fripp! We will be back! Felt safe in a gorgeous location. Steps from beach and pools. Cooked in our kitchenette but enjoyed meals nearby. Kid friendly & family oriented, a getaway close to home.
Getting married at Fripp Island Golf & Beach Resort

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
