We had our wedding at Galley Beach with our ceremony right on the sand, and I honestly do not even know where to begin. It truly was everything we hoped for and more. Terry, Maureen, Ieva and the entire team were incredible. They were calm, organized, professional and so knowledgeable.
We had a nice meal with our toes in the sand on a beautiful summer day at Galley Beach. The setting is magnificent. However, the food and service were not what they should be given its reputation and price point. Definitely worth visiting though.
There is nothing beachy-er than a restaurant that has tables in the sand oceanside. The whole location was just what we were looking for. We had a great table under The tent outside. The wind was a bit much so my recommendation is go ahead and sit in the sun if the winds are high. We enjoyed drinks and lunch.
Oceanfront Perfection! Galley Beach delivers an unforgettable dining experience. The pasta was sensational and the lobster was as fresh and flavorful as it gets. Service was warm, professional, and accommodating.
Getting married at Galley Beach
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
