Our stay at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Oxon Hill was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the property was breathtaking — beautifully maintained, elegant, and full of incredible amenities. The atmosphere inside the atrium is stunning and creates a truly unique experience.
The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center delivers a truly luxurious experience right on the National Harbor. The rooms are upscale and beautifully appointed, but the real magic is inside the massive, climate-controlled glass atrium.
My suite was absolutely incredible!!! I have stayed at this location many times but never in a suite. Decided to spoil myself this weekend and I just can't say enough great things about this hotel. Super clean!! Pleasant staff! Incredible views! Incredible value! This is by far my most favorite hotel.
Wow! Just wow! What an amazing hotel with an amazing view! Has many little cafes that you can enjoy in the hotel! The staff was helpful and pleasant to talk to! They always said ‘hi’ when you came in. The place was very clean and well kept! They take pride in this hotel!
Getting married at Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
