The rooms are reasonably comfortable. The rooms have always been clean and ready when we arrive after 2 PM. The staff always seem nice whenever we interact with them. The pools always seem to have towels and are reasonably clean. I personally love the 7th floor pool, hot tubs and lazy river.
Will continue to always choose Grande shores when we come to Myrtle Beach. It's on the quiet end, clean, close to everything you could want/need. Just returned from another stay and I really only left to get groceries this time around...it was a much needed reset for me and a truly relaxing trip.
Grand shores did NOT disappoint! Location was great, views amazing! The pools and hot tubs are great! The employees were very pleasant, especially the gentleman running the pool side bar. Room was clean, and ready on time. Will def come back! Hated to leave! it's not far from entertainment.
This is our 2nd time staying here. We have a family of 9. Everything thing about Grande Shores is wonderful! The prices, location it right on the beach it has a boardwalk where you are just steps away from the beach. 2 pools 2 lazy rivers. Restaurants on the premises. Staff is wonderful and friendly!
Getting married at Grande Shores Ocean Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
