What an excellent place to stay and play at! My friend and I stayed 3 days and 2 nights at Granite Point, specifically in the Pepper Creek cabin, and had an absolutely fantastic time.
A once-in-a-lifetime stay at Granite Point! My husband and I stayed at Granite Point on Resurrection Bay this past June to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday — a true bucket-list adventure. Everything about the experience was incredible.
Our time at Granite Point was the highlight of our Alaska trip! Our family of five stayed at the Wolf Ridge cabin at the very top. The hike up to it should not be underestimated! It's very steep and can be slippery when wet.
A group of us drove from Fairbanks and stayed at Granite Point for a couple of nights last month. We had THE best time and wish we could have stayed longer. The weather was wonderful, accommodations outstanding and the host wonderful and super helpful.
Getting married at Granite Point
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
