Great location, staff was nice Attended a wedding here. Ceremony was outside with an incredible view. Post ceremony was on the the patio with a bar and munchies. Reception was inside, food was more than acceptable. I've certainly had worse in similar places.
Attended a wedding held at the club, outdoor wedding area was beautiful with view of sound and indoor reception was excellent. The appetizers and main course were very good. Have no idea about the club itself but the place was clean, beautiful and well organized.
We hosted a reception at this lovely venue in February, in-between snowstorms -- everything was shoveled and pristine. Alison the events manager and Alison of the club were both so welcoming and extremely easy to work with. We also used Star Gourmet for catering and they were also excellent -- both highly recommended!

Getting married at Guilford Yacht Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
