READ MY REVIEWS. This is the Gulf State Park Pavillion and Public Beach Access. This is a well-maintained and very well taken care of State facility. We stopped here for a couple hours to enjoy our last stop at the Orange Beach on the Gulf Coast. The bathrooms are very nice and are complete with showers.
Overcast winter day at the beach. We had the whole beach and parking area to ourselves. You need to pay for parking. However, if you are staying at Gulf State Park Campground, the parking fee is included in your daily pass. They have lots of stuff to do and a beach snack bar open during summer/spring/fall.
Was passing through and stopped here for a day on the beach. What a perfect location! The beach was soft white sand and absolutely beautiful. The pavilion was the nicest I have ever been to. Super nice bathrooms and private showers! They are the perfect ending to the day.
Beautiful pavilion and great access to the beach too. We came one morning and had to go back that night. They have swings at the entrance, access to walkways, a bathroom, and it wasn't busy either time. Beautiful and a go-to spot.
Getting married at Gulf State Park Pavillion
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
