From the reviews
Great place for the family or to take friends from out of town. The Carnival cruise ship docks 1 day a week for Bahamas trips. You can easily spend the day or 2 or 3 enjoying all the location has to offer.
I recently worked as a wedding photographer at the Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center and was thoroughly impressed. The venue is stunning and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a unique and beautiful wedding location.
Community Sing and Play along is always a big success! Love them going to different venues and showcasing all Hampton Roads has to offer! We may have been close to fire codes with all the singers, instrumentalists, and the band but the event was so much fun!!
Getting married at Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
