From the reviews
We got married here March 19, 2024 and loved every part of it! This place is well equipped for weddings and large events. Plenty of chairs, tables, and space (also carts for moving everything up and down the hills).
This park is a hidden gem that will surprise you with its natural beauty. Don’t judge it by its modest entrance or its small parking lot. You have to get out of your car and explore the trails to discover its wonders. 🚶♂️ The first time I came here, I didn’t see much and left quickly.
This State Park hold events such as wedding, birthdays, or whatever celebration you want. We came here for a wedding. It's such a beautiful space (inside and outside! The hall was decorated beautifully. And the outdoor space is just breathtaking!
We discovered this park while driving around Kaneohe. It’s an easy walk around with spectacular views of the ocean with many shades of blue and turquoise. You can see the Kaneohe Sandbar on one side and a large fish pond on the other. Big parking lot. Bathroom on site, picnic tables and garden benches.
Getting married at Heʻeia State Park
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
