Heartwood is a beautifully converted church with a wonderful marrying and performing space, fab kitchen, and ante rooms on two floors ( for other needs and changing etc.) The wide sweeping steps out front and gorgeously landscaped lawn make for amazing pictures.
We can't thank the Heartwood Center and its staff enough for how amazing our wedding was. The Heartwood is beautiful and was perfect for our special day. The downstairs allowed for the wedding party to get ready and the rest of venue was more than enough to entertain the rest of our guests. The Staff, especially Ms.

Such a great event center. Staff is very friendly and we have attended 2 events so far and had the best experience! I would recommend to anyone looking to host any event, wedding, etc..
Getting married at Heartwood Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
