Our girls getaway overnight at Hideaway Bay was AMAZING!! The management team and staff were all so kind and attentive… loved the cabin / bungalow setup, beautifully decorated, included everything you could possibly need!!
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The staff are genuinely friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We absolutely loved our stay! Gorgeous lake views, delicious food at the onsite restaurant and relaxing environment.
Beautiful romantic setting. Service, rooms, and dining were impeccable! From beachy dining to our cute modern 2 story bungalow, we really enjoyed the lake life atmosphere. Tried out the hot tub, sauna, and smores with a campfire and even a nice sunset.
Great little location with well-appointed cabins, awesome owners and excellent wait staff. Food and drinks at Drift Restaurant were excellent and the atmosphere is very comfortable. I highly recommend staying at the Hideaway Bay Resort.
Getting married at Hideaway Bay Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
