From the reviews
I never expected such a great experience here and was amazed every day at Holiday Hills Resort. Our extended family of 8 rented the Holiday House and never wanted for anything. The owners and staff were attentive and friendly and we felt like we were all old friends after just a couple of hours here.
This was my family's first trip to Holiday Hills. The staff was wonderful! We had an electric situation that was fixed immediately. The tiny home we stayed in was very nice. The deck was awesome. I would recommend that management consider trimming the two trees in front of Lakeside Place 2 to give a better water view.
We rented one of the two story town houses over looking the water! It was beautiful! The house was decorated cute, very clean, very spacious. The toilets are very low sitting, and the stairs are very steep if you have knee troubles. However, there is a bed down stairs to accommodate. The bathrooms were very clean.
We loved our stay at Holiday Hills! We visited in route to Missouri for the solar eclipse, and Holiday Hills offered the only available campsites that weren't priced gouging.
Getting married at Holiday Hills Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
