Winner of Best of the Northwest 2025 award. My husband recently stayed here and enjoyed it. The hotel is beautiful and has views of the water. At first his room had an issue with the thermostat. The staff were quick to resolve this and provide him with an alternate room. His room had a fireplace and an armoire.
What more can I say!??. It's always such a treat when we stay here rooms are clean! Staff is great! The views are Amazing! Everytime we are in the area meeting up with our family at the marina or having dinners with friends this is always our top choice to stay with. Definitely a 10/10.
Our team recently hosted a retreat at the Bellwether. Rooms, service, location and meals in their onsite restaurant were all delightful! I was especially impressed with the comfortable pillows, and the afternoon cookies- such a lovely treat!
This was a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is beautiful and located with water views and paths all around. Brought our two big dogs and they loved the place. Every room is well taken care of and you would not guess dogs were even allowed in hotel. Will definitely come back.
Getting married at Hotel Bellwether
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
