From the reviews
I highly, HIGHLY, recommend staying here. My husband Juan and I couldn't find anywhere to stay for the night, but got extremely lucky to have found Hotel Cathlamet. We moved here from colorado, not knowing anyone at all, and have been really blessed with meeting Laurel.
We were in the area for an event on Puget Island. Hotel Cathlamet is a wonderful old hotel with interesting period furniture and decor. Very clean and comfortable room, lovely mattress and bedding, great shower. Healthy snacks available 24 hours. Quiet, peaceful, safe. Nice folks own it. Great communication.
Love this hotel, will go again. Very happy with the service, nice people. Quaint and cozy rooms with nice decor throughout. I can not say enough, we were taken good care of by the staff. Beautiful views of the Columbia River. A great little Norwegian town.
This service is absolutely amazing. Top notch and could not be better! Very kind and accommodating. I love this place, it totally gives me the feel of Mcminemans. The bathrooms were clean The bedrooms were clean and comfortable.
Getting married at Hotel Cathlamet
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
