The water view and pools are Amazing! The room is cool, nothing spectacular. Headboard was really worn needed some updating but clean. View is great but super small balcony. Doesn't offer waters like other Hyatt properties so bring a water bottle with you to refill. Parking is a walk and fee no valet option.
Amazing experience! I had planned a company retreat for 15+ people to this location and despite not everything going exactly to plan, the resort accommodated us and made up for any possible shortcoming. Truly a 1 of 1 customer service experience.
My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at the Hyatt! We stayed two nights, and could've easily stayed longer. The resort is very clean, the views are beautiful, the staff is very friendly and there's so much to do. We've already decided to make this an annual trip. Also, the bellman, Charles, was amazing!
Nice location, the rooms are quite dated. Updates to the shower would lively up the internal disposition of the accommodations.
Getting married at Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
