From the reviews
Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa is the kind of place that actually lives up to the hype — and that’s rare. From the moment you arrive, the property feels like a true resort, not just a hotel. The layout, landscaping, and overall atmosphere are dialed in.
I had a really nice stay at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa. It’s right by the beach in Huntington Beach, and the location is amazing. The hotel is clean, pretty, and feels relaxing. My room was big and comfortable, and I loved having a balcony with a view of the ocean.
We had a very great time at this hotel. It is walking distance from everything that you might want to see near the Huntington Beach pier. There are lots of amenities included. The spa is good. There’s an adult only hot tub area. The restaurants on site are OK.
This Hyatt property is massive. What I loved about it is the excellent location, the footbridge connecting directly to the beach, and some rooms having a direct ocean view. The amenities are great - multiple pools and jacuzzis, making it perfect for families with kids.
Getting married at Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
