From the reviews
Nice resort and amenities. Views from higher floors are absolutely breathtaking. Room comfortable and nice size but needs to be cleaned better. Doors and walls dirty and living room sofa has stains all over. Valley parking is quick and efficient. Beach chairs is included in resort fee but beach is extremely busy.
I want to share my experience at the High Beach House. Honestly, it was a really lovely stay. My friend and I had so much fun. I really liked the service, although I wasn’t too happy about the wait at the valet parking. But overall, it was a really beautiful experience, a really lovely stay.
The Hyde Beach houses is a great place. We stayed on the 34th floor. The view is breath taking all hours of the day. There are 2 pools. One on the first floor with the view of the lake, more quiet and less busy. The other pool is on the 6th floor with partial view of the ocean. A bar and a big area for kids to play.
Clean rooms not all soundproof since we heard our neighbours party and move chairs around. Staff was very friendly and professional. Stan and his colleagues were so sweet and helpful. Keep in mind that the beach access is 35$/day to get two chairs only and an umbrella.
Getting married at Hyde Beach House
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
