We stayed at Isabelle’s in June for a friends wedding and it was quite honestly the most wonderful hotel experience I have had thus far. I could have sat on that expansive front porch on the swing and looked out into the ocean forever! Breakfast was always amazing and all the rooms were picture perfect.
Isabelle’s Beach House is a very beautiful location on Martha’s Vineyard. A few weeks ago my husband and I got married on The Vineyard and were lucky enough to spend the weekend on the big front porch with our closest friends. Everyone had a great time going to the beach and catching up on the porch.
We are family of 5 stayed at this place for 4 days. It was amazing location. 10 steps from Inkwell Beach. We has sun rise and moon rise from the house it self. It has very nice relaxing over looking gallery. Staff is very friendly and listened our all need.
We visited Martha’s Vineyard during the off-season for Mother's Day weekend and had a wonderful stay at Inkwell Beach House. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very well kept. The location was perfect — right across from Inkwell Beach — and we loved sitting on the patio watching the ocean.
Getting married at Inkwell Beach House
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
