From the reviews
Visiting Connecticut, the basketball & pizza state, we wanted to explore its shoreline. What luck to find the Inn at Mystic, still open during the winter season. Rooms were cozy and spacious - with balconies, water views, fireplaces and logs to burn. The on-site restaurant, Rocks 21, was super!
We celebrated our wedding here and loved every minute. Overall, the staff are kind, professional, and talented. Our guests had nothing but good things to say about their experiences. I recommend this venue to anyone hosting a big event!
Almost perfect. It feels like it's starting to go down in quality, rooms have some flaking plaster and common rooms have some "heavily used" vibes. I will still come as I've been 4+ times already. The view is nice.
Staying at this cozy Inn with such a warm cozy feel. The associates welcome you like distant family, Rachel welcomed us and made us feel at home. Spending the weekend for a wedding. More to come.
Getting married at Inn at Mystic
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
