From the reviews
It was a delight to be at The Inn on Ocean. We stayed from Wednesday-Monday and felt we were at the home of dear friends. To be clear, we had never met owner, Allen, or staff members MiLena and Corrine, but they were eager to accommodate our needs and to make sure we were comfortable.
What a lovely Inn and wonderful/personal hospitality. Our stay was truly 5 Star. Our room was spacious, well appointed and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and we so enjoyed meeting other guests in the beautiful dining room and the various sitting rooms around the house.
The Inn at Ocean Avenue is a beautifully renovated turn of the last century brick mansion which retains historic character while providing guests with lovely modern rooms that include updated safety features and amenities such as radiant bathroom floors.
The Inn at Ocean Avenue was perfect in every way! A grand antique home with all of the charm of yesteryear, tastefully updated in only the most necessary of ways ... Impeccably clean with luxurious bedsheets ... The bathrooms always had warm water ... The modern heating/AC system made the room very comfortable ...
Getting married at Inn at Ocean Avenue
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
