My husband and I just spent 5 nights at this special B and B. It was absolutely perfect. Lovely room, great water pressure and good overall comfort, with a private balcony looking at the ocean and Martha’s Vineyard in the distance. The breakfasts were varied and absolutely scrumptious and generous.
My wife and I have been coming here during the winter for a few years now and I can say with certainty that it’s the best b&b we’ve been to. We are always treated so well here between the wonderful hosts, the delicious food, a great tea selection, the fireplace every evening, and beautifully decorated rooms.
Lovely inn with a view of the sound that you cannot beat. Everything went very smoothly during my stay and the service was top notch. The Green Harbor room was spacious and had the perfect view of the ocean. Had a great visit & would stay again
The breakfasts were amazing, the staff so accommodating and all the little extras (cookies, water, recognizing my friends birthday with champagne) were greatly appreciated and the best part ... the location and view. We will be back!
Getting married at Inn on the Sound at Falmouth
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
