I caught the fish of my lifetime -- a 68" Halibut--aboard one of their boats. You want a big taste of Alaska-- in fishing, food and hospitality? Then this is the place. Be prepared to get up early and drive a lot. It's worth the scenery you get. Awesome guides. Awesome food. Courteous and helpful staff.
The staff at the Seascape Lodge was fantastic! We were treated like family more than like guests! The amenities were great and you couldn't beat the view! The fishing was amazing and all of the guides were great at what they do!! An absolutely unforgettable experience!!!
Jimmie Jack's Seascape Lodge is a spectacular location and fishing was awesome. Seascape Staff are top of the line. Jimmie Jack Staff were also quick to respond to cancellations due to weather. I highly recommend them!
Getting married at Jimmie Jack's Alaska SeaScape Lodge
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
