From the reviews
We got married at Kitsap Memorial in April, and the whole experience was amazing. We're so glad we went through the State Parks for a venue, the price point was reasonable, the expectations and rules were straightforward, and the area was incredible.
Many people may drive right past this park on their way to the Olympic Peninsula not knowing that it has one of the best publicly accessible views of the Olympic Mountains from Kitsap.
Stayed here from Feb 27 to Mar 1 and I'm already writing a review because this park is wonderful:) The campground is very clean; the camp host is a really nice guy that takes pride in keeping the park tidy and orderly. If you are coming here to party...
Nice quiet place to camp and enjoy. You can walk to the beach and there is a playground for the kids. There are very nice cabins to rent (4 in total) that have a double bed and a bunk bed and a fridge and microwave. Common restrooms have passcode and are kept fairly clean.
Getting married at Kitsap Memorial State Park
Kitsap Memorial State Park is a public beach or park, so a ceremony here almost always needs a permit from the managing city, county, or state parks office — and the rules matter: many public beaches cap your guest count, set ceremony windows, and restrict what you can set up (some ban chairs, arches, and amplified sound entirely). There's no on-site coordinator, catering, or weather backup, so you'll bring your own vendors and a rain plan. The payoff is a stunning setting at a fraction of a private venue's cost. Start with our public-beach permit guide, then call the local office to confirm this season's rules.
