From the reviews
Our daughter got married at the Community Sailing Center in September and she couldn’t have been happier! The venue sits right on Lake Champlain, and the open-air event space—with its open sides—allowed us to take in the lake and the bonus for us was seeing the stunning sunset over the water after the celebration!
We hosted our wedding at the CSC this summer and it was an amazing experience! Staff were responsive, communicative throughout planning, very helpful when doing tours with vendors, and made the space accessible to us throughout planning.
The Community Sailing Center was an absolutely perfect place to have our wedding! The vibe was amazing, the view unbeatable, and the space felt both intimate and full of life. Tilly was so helpful and accommodating from start to finish—she was truly a joy to work with.
Had a wonderful experience getting out on the lake this morning. Great location, helpful staff, and fun times!
Getting married at Lake Champlain Community Sailing Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
