We are staying here this weekend for a Memorial Day getaway, and it is fabulous! I love having all of the amenities of home in our private cottage while right here on the lake! I literally only needed to bring clothes, food, and beverages because the cottage is beautifully stocked with everything!
Gorgeous cottage, beautifully decorated, and like brand new inside and out. Super clean, and comfortable. HVAC worked great. Kitchen was beautiful with everything you need. The view overlooking the water was superb. We stayed two nights for a wedding that was held at the venue, and the amenities and staff were amazing!
Labor Day weekend stay ,Was such a great property to visit. So clean ,location was great too. Walked to shopping district to the big boy restaurant. Met the owners who are so friendly & made us feel so welcome. We recommend staying here. Good view of the bay ,bonfire under the stars next to water was also great.
My mom, my brother, my partner, and I stayed at Lake Life Cottages June 23 - 25, 2026. We stayed in #13. Everything was clean and comfortable. There were accessories in the kitchen to use (cutting boards, pots, even dish soap and a few dishwasher tabs).
Getting married at Lake Life Cottages
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
